The Association’s main objectives are—as stated in its statutes—to activate and integrate the merchant community, raise its social standing, and safeguard its interests. The Association pursues its objectives, among other ways, by representing the community’s interests before administrative and local-government authorities, undertaking initiatives to develop trade in its area of operation, mediating disputed matters between Association members, and organizing social services, legal advice, etc. The Association’s president is Grzegorz Zieliński, its deputy president is Mirosław Horzempa, its secretary is Marian Kilimnik, its treasurer is Janusz Śliwiński, and a member of the Board is Lesław Mroczkowski. An ordinary member of the Association may be a natural person engaged in commercial activity on their own account.
