Currently, an investment entitled “Landfill” is being carried out in our municipality.
In addition to Osiecznica municipality, this landfill will also serve Małomice municipality and the Military Unit from Świętoszów.
The Przejęsławianki ensemble has achieved more than just successes related to music. They have already won an award in a competition for “traditional Christmas Eve dishes,” and recently were among the winners of the 3rd Competition for Traditional Bread Baking, held in Mirsk on 5 October 1996.
The competition was organized by the Regional Cultural Centre in Jelenia Góra, the Municipal and Communal Office in Mirsk, and the Community Cultural Centre in Sulików, with the participation of the Ministry of Culture and Art.
Several ensembles from the Jelenia Góra Voivodeship, which were to present homemade baked goods prepared according to their ancestors’ recipes, were evaluated by a panel of specialists—ethnologists.
The Przejęsławianki ensemble, which won one of the four first prizes, was awarded a cash prize.
Congratulations!
The entire landfill will consist of five cells intended for municipal waste and two cells for industrial waste; in this way, we will solve the problems associated with waste storage for several dozen years to come.
Completion of the landfill construction is scheduled for the end of 1996. Since almost all the work being carried out is classified as earthworks, the only reason for failing to meet the completion deadline could be adverse weather conditions.
After the landfill opens, plans also include purchasing a larger number of containers, which will mean that every resident will be able to use them without any restrictions.
