The organizer of this year's Children's Day event in the municipality was the Świętoszów Forest District.
The event was combined with an initiative in which children cleaned up the forests. The festival was organized near the Timber Yard in Ławszowa, where, in a perfectly prepared area, children from nearby localities could take part in numerous competitions, most of which focused on environmental themes. The Forest District provided many attractive prizes for this purpose.
There was also a campfire with sausages, drinks for the children, and a plate of pea soup. Children from Przejęsław and Osiecznica were transported to the event at the expense of the Forest District.
It was an event worthy of praise, as it aimed to combine two important factors: pleasure with usefulness—and the organizers succeeded.
We hope this is not the last event of this kind organized by the Świętoszów Forest District.
