In connection with the opening of the building formerly housing the Kutuzov Museum, it has become possible to prepare a permanent exhibition devoted to the history of the city of Boleslawiec. Preparing such an exhibition requires collecting a larger number of materials connected with the city’s past. The Museum of Ceramics has very few exhibits of this kind, as the pre-war collections of the local Museum were lost.
Therefore, we kindly appeal to the residents of Boleslawiec and the surrounding area to donate all kinds of memorabilia and documents (photographs, postcards, maps, engravings, products of traditional crafts) as gifts, deposits or, alternatively, to sell them to us.
Detailed information will be provided by the subject-matter experts at the Museum of Ceramics during the Museum’s opening hours, Monday to Friday, in person or by telephone. We hope that your kindness and understanding of our request will contribute to presenting a complete picture of the past of our city.
