... was held on March 2 this year at Primary School No. 8 in Bolesławiec. First place went to Katarzyna Pawicka from Primary School No. 2 in Lwówek Śląski. Her work was awarded 29.5 out of a possible 30 points. Marta Śmietanka from Primary School No. 5 and Sebastian Stępniak from Primary School No. 10 (both from Bolesławiec) took second place ex aequo, with 24.5 points each.
In addition, the following students from Bolesławiec schools qualified for the regional stage of the competition (the list contained 12 names): Krzysztof Maczkowiak – No. 4, Leszek Śliwko – No. 3, Kajetan Świtalski – No. 8, Justyna Marut – No. 6, Artur Pieniądz – No. 5 and Marcin Kiciński – No. 4. Let us also add that the winners of last year’s edition of the competition—then seventh-graders—were Katarzyna Pawicka, Sebastian Stępniak and Justyna Marut.
