For the fourth time, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre organized an inter-company indoor football tournament in the gymnasium of a military unit. In the round-robin competition, teams played twice for 10 minutes; a team made up of the best soldier-players from units of the Bolesławiec garrison achieved great success. The hosts secured a convincing victory over four civilian teams from Bolesławiec. The full points haul and many beautiful goals were thanks to Capt. Robert Pochodaj, Capt. Marek Laskowski, Staff Warrant Officer Henryk Gliński, Senior Corporal Dariusz Czerkasiewicz, Senior Corporal Włodzimierz Pałka, and Lance Corporals Piotr Bilski, Paweł Borek and Piotr Suchodolski.
Second place was won by the footballers of Państwowa Komunikacja Samochodowa, third place by Zakłady Ceramiczne Bolesławiec, and fourth place was shared by the District Police Headquarters and the Water and Sewerage Enterprise. The top three teams were presented with trophies and indoor footballs.
The chief referee of the competition was Czesław Rościszewski, while Alina Kamińska and Dorota Berdzik supervised the smooth running of the tournament. Staff Warrant Officer Dariusz Kaczorowski provided substantial organizational assistance to the employees of the Events Organization Department of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre.
