The Workplace Board of NSZZ PW of the 11th Bolesławiec Anti-Aircraft Regiment hosted participants in the Polish Championships of Military Employees in badminton for the fourth time. The results achieved by the hosts this year testify to the popularity of this discipline in the Bolesławiec community. In the team classification, they outperformed, among others, representatives of Czerwieńsk, Wrocław, Żagań and Legnica. The chairman of the workplace organization, and at the same time an enthusiast and promoter of badminton, Stanisław Kaliwoda, regrets that not all districts fielded their representatives. This time, at the bonfire concluding the two-day competition, the acting commander of the 11th Bolesławiec Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Maj. Tadeusz Mleczko, together with the chairman of the district union, Ludwik Kojko, presented prizes and gifts to the top finishers. They had been funded by the “Hanka” Knitting Plant in Legnica, the Main Board of NSZZ PW and the Municipal Office in Bolesławiec. Championship standings:
