On Sunday, 25 May, a rugby tournament marking Local Government Day was held at the Water Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street. Five teams took part: RC Kaskada Szczecin, RK Haust Zielona Góra, AZS Politechnika Wrocław, RC Częstochowa and the hosts, TOP Husar Bolesławiec.
The competition was played in a round-robin format. TOP Husar dominated their opponents. This was evident in every match played by the Bolesławiec team. Our rugby players, coached by Robert Szewczuk, defeated all their opponents and took first place.
