From April 27 to May 1, the final matches of the National Youth Olympiad in boys’ basketball were held in Wałbrzych. The Lower Silesian voivodeship team won the gold medal.
A StarBol Bolesławiec player also contributed to winning the Polish Championship – Grzegorz Weselak, who was the only player from outside Wrocław to play for the Lower Silesian team. This is a major success for Bolesławiec basketball and the StarBol club.
