Cycling enthusiasts can look forward to some great attractions on Sunday, April 13. The International MTB Mountain Bike Race will start at 10:00. Competitors will race through the municipal forests of Bolesławiec (behind the Orlen station on aleja Tysiąclecia). Both amateurs and cyclists holding licenses may take part in the race.
To enter the competition, participants must register either in person at the event's organizational office or by email. Registration will also be possible at the race office on the day of the event, until 09:45. Children under 12 can enter the race free of charge. All other participants will have to pay an entry fee. The rates are listed on the website of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre, the organizer of Sunday's competitions.
The top three finishers will receive cups, diplomas and prizes. In addition, the President of Bolesławiec Special Awards will be presented to the three best male and female competitors in the following categories: elite, women, female juniors and male juniors.
Marathons
Cyclists who prefer longer distances can enter the MTB Small Cycling Marathon. The route is 21 km long. The ceremonial start will take place at 15:00 in the municipal forests of Bolesławiec (behind the Orlen station on aleja Tysiąclecia). Participants in the 1st Bolesławiec Cycling Mini-Marathon for Temperance Associations and Families will set off on the route together with the cyclists in the small marathon.The 1st Bolesławiec Cycling Mini-Marathon will start at the same time. It is aimed primarily at members of temperance organizations and movements and their families. The routes of both marathons will be marked and secured by judges, security services and the police. Checkpoints will be located along the route. Missing a checkpoint will result in disqualification. Attractive prizes await the winners of Sunday's competitions.
