The County Primary Schools “Four-a-side” Girls’ Volleyball Championship was held on Friday, 4 April, in the sports hall in Nowa Wieś. Sixth-grade female students took part in the competition.
After a fierce contest, the SP No. 2 Bolesławiec team won the County Championship title (10:2 in sets). The champions played in the following lineup: Ola Dziuba, Agata Fraś, Paulina Janicka, Paula Kowalik, Aneta Weneny, Eliza Makiej, Klaudia Czaplicka, Paulina Wilk, Michalina Zając and Paulina Szulik. The team’s coach is Kazimierz Prokowski.
The championship team won all its matches, defeating SP Żeliszów (2:1), SP Nowa Wieś (2:0), SP No. 4 (2:1), and SP Tomisław and SP Iwiny (2:0 each) in succession. The players from SP No. 4 finished second (9:4 in sets), while SP Iwiny came third (8:5).
The SP No. 2 and SP No. 4 teams qualified for the zonal competition, which will be held on 9 April in Lubań.
