Hubert Bonin was one of the first residents of Bolesławiec. He was a prisoner of the Stutthof concentration camp. He took part in the reconstruction of the post-war city. He founded the first drugstore in Bolesławiec and was also the founder of scouting in our county. He raised hundreds of citizens of the city and the country. For his former charges as well as for contemporary young people, he was an unquestionable authority. In December 2005, he became an honorary citizen of Bolesławiec.
Hubert Bonin died early on Wednesday morning. The Bolesławiec scouting district will remain in mourning for a month. The editorial team of Boleslawiec.org / IstotneInformacje.pl extends its condolences to the family and friends of Scoutmaster Bonin.
The funeral will take place on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the municipal cemetery.
