On Saturday, BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec hosted Miedź II Legnica. In the 11th minute, the visitors took the lead. Artur Spraski, a BKS academy graduate, scored with a header after a rebound. Conceding the goal motivated our team. BKS clearly quickened the pace, but our team’s attacks ended on the edge of the visitors’ penalty area. Bolesławiec’s first shot at the opponents’ goal came only in the 20th minute, when Radosław Szajwaj’s effort went wide. Ten minutes later, BKS’s new player Kamil Mielnik produced a brilliant move. The player, who until recently had played for Czarni Lwówek Śląski, dribbled past several Legnica players and sent a dangerous shot into the side netting.

In the 35th minute, the score could have been 1:1, but Paweł Rissmann missed badly from seven metres. The closing stages of the first half were exciting. In the 45th minute, BKS goalkeeper Marek Przykłota displayed incredible reflexes. The Bolesławiec goalkeeper saved three consecutive shots. A minute later, the score was 1:1. Paweł Rissmann got on the scoresheet.

The second half began with a dangerous, but fortunately narrowly inaccurate, shot by the visitors. In the 49th minute, Kamil Mielnik shone again. The player embarrassed several opponents, ran with the ball across half the pitch and played an accurate pass to Paweł Rissmann. However, Rissmann hit the post. In the 60th minute, BKS led 2:1. The goal followed a combination between our two forwards. Paweł Rissmann passed to Chrystian Serkies, who beat the visiting goalkeeper with a gentle shot into the right corner.

In the 74th minute, Paweł Rissmann set the final score at 3:1 for BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec. With 40 points, Bolesławiec are fifth in the IV league table. Next week, our team faces a difficult away match against Motobi Bystrzyca Kąty Wrocławskie. Motobi are fourth in the table.
