The Pedagogical Library, currently located at 11 Tyrankiewiczów Street (entrance from the gymnasium), will resume operations on Monday, 17 March at 11:00. The first stage of the renovation, carried out as part of the “Multimedia Centre of Pedagogical and Library Information in Bolesławiec” project, has already been completed. This stage cost approximately PLN 60,000, while the entire investment is expected to cost approximately PLN 1 million.
The project’s creators envisage the establishment of a modern multimedia laboratory in Bolesławiec, with 25 workstations. Six local libraries are to receive modern computer equipment with ALEPH software. The investment will make it possible to order books online. In addition, the passageway between I LO and the gymnasium is to be renovated.
The library will be available to teachers, students of AGH and the Academy of Economics, students of post-secondary schools, and upper-secondary students preparing for their final exams. The institution’s opening hours will also change.
