The exhibition “City: From Image to Infinity” is a collection of works created using traditional intaglio techniques: etching, aquatint, drypoint with spit bite, soft-ground etching and drypoint. Its subject is a transformed urban landscape.
Agata Szafert is a fifth-year graphics student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. She is also interested in other media and creates short animated drawing films. She developed her artistic skills under the guidance of Bolesławiec artists Jolanta Ajlikow-Czarnecka and Czesław Matyjewicz.
The exhibition can be viewed at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre gallery until 7 November, daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
