From February 1, 2008, PKP Przewozy Regionalne will introduce changes to the train timetable. The most important changes concern the Zgorzelec–Warsaw connection.

The “Łużyce” express train running between Zgorzelec and Warszawa Wschodnia will operate only until the end of the month. However, this does not mean that Bolesławiec will lose its direct connection with the capital. From Friday, February 1, the “Oleńka” express train will run on this route (via Wrocław, Opole and Częstochowa).

Departure times will change: instead of departing at 8:52 as before, the train to Warsaw will leave at 13:57 from Friday, arriving in Warsaw at 22:12. From the capital, “Oleńka” will depart at 6:33 and arrive in Bolesławiec at 14:29.

Regional passenger trains will operate unchanged.
