Two chess tournaments were held at the TOP Games and Activities Center on Piastów Street. The Primary Schools Championship was won by the team representing Primary School No. 4, consisting of Kacper Grela, Szymon Kopeć, Miłosz Prystupa and Martyna Pawlik. The winning team’s supervisor is Aneta Jastrząbek. Second place went to the team representing Primary School No. 1, consisting of Bartosz Pachom, Łukasz Michalski, Martin Duda and Sandra Wasilewska. The team’s supervisor is Ewelina Urbanek.

Fifteen players competed in the 10th Open Bolesławiec Chess Championship. The winners in the individual age groups were:

  • up to 12 years – Bartosz Pachom
  • 13–15 years – Dawid Permu and Kamila Chrobot
  • 19–30 years – Marcin Zimermann
  • 31–55 years – Andrzej Kędzia
  • over 56 years – Zbigniew Humenny

Both chess tournaments were organized by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center.
