The first accident involving an injured person occurred near Wykroty. At around 9:30 a.m., a truck driver hit another truck, which was stopped at traffic lights. There were no fatalities. Poor visibility was probably the cause of the accident.
The Bolesławiec firefighters had not even managed to return to the station when they received another call. Another collision occurred near Nowogrodziec. During an incorrectly performed overtaking maneuver, a Peugeot Partner collided with an Opel Corsa. Two injured people were taken to hospital.
Update: 2007-11-21 11:00
There was yet another accident that day. In the evening, near Czerna, the driver of a Seat—while overtaking—moved into the opposite lane and collided with a MAN truck. The driver of the passenger car was injured. An ambulance took him to hospital.
