The cities will foster the development of contacts between social and cultural organizations, artistic groups, sports clubs, healthcare facilities and schools, as well as between residents.
Before signing the agreement, representatives of both cities briefly presented their history and current situation. Few people know that Česká Lípa and Bolesławiec had already cooperated on similar terms between 1919 and 1938. The new agreement will therefore allow this tradition to continue.
Česká Lípa is located 120 km from Bolesławiec. Trade and services, as well as its cultural and sports offerings, play an important role there.
