On Saturday in Gromadka, TOP Bolesławiec played another league game. This time, the Bolesławiec team faced Gimbasket Wrocław. The team is coached by the once outstanding basketball player Robert Kosciuk.

From the very beginning of the game, the Bolesławiec players imposed a fast pace and dominated on the court. If not for several simple mistakes by our players, Gimbasket would have had little to say. The first quarter ended with Bolesławiec leading 21–16. The second was the best quarter Gimbasket played in this game, but ultimately TOP went into halftime leading 35–27. Over the next 10 minutes, the Bolesławiec players built an advantage of around 20 points, which they maintained until the end of the game, winning 61–41. TOP’s top scorers were Jacek Wójcik (22), Paweł Wilas (14) and Krzysztof Kureła (8). Following this victory, TOP Bolesławiec are third in the third-league standings.

A week earlier, TOP Bolesławiec faced Acapulco Wrocław in Wrocław. The hosts were clear favourites in this game. The first quarter began with a fast attack by the Wrocław team. Wrocław were clearly better on the rebounds. Effective put-backs from right under the basket determined the scoring. The second quarter looked much the same, with TOP also committing many turnovers. Bolesławiec went into halftime trailing 25–54. The next 10 minutes brought a similar pattern of play, while the score, 41–87, fully reflected the events on the court.

TOP played the final quarter slightly better than the previous one, but even that was not enough to mount an equal fight against their opponents. Ultimately, TOP lost the game 63–123. TOP’s leading scorers were Jacek Wójcik (21), Paweł Wilas (18), Adrian Kurchan (8) and Marcin Kozłowski (8).
