On September 24, the driver of an Iveco truck with a trailer crashed forcefully into a streetlight on Al. 1000-lecia. The incident occurred in the afternoon. The man was detained. A test showed that he was completely drunk. He had 3.20 per mille of alcohol in his blood.

On the same day, police officers from Warta Bolesławiecka intervened in a domestic dispute started by a resident of nearby Tomaszów. While being escorted to the police station, the man damaged the patrol car door in a fit of rage.

Two days earlier, Bolesławiec police officers detained another drunk driver in Gromadka. The 20-year-old was driving a Ford Escort. He had 2 per mille of alcohol in his breath. Moreover, it turned out that the young man was still subject to a driving ban issued by the District Court in Bolesławiec.
