The announced revolution on the Boleslawiec.org portal has begun. The first changes to our service appeared on Saturday. We will gradually introduce more. Below, we present a list of new services that our Readers can already use today:

  • An online camera showing Bolesławiec’s market square from the best vantage point—the tower of the Sanctuary of the Assumption of the Mother of the Church. The camera image is refreshed every five minutes. Bolesławiec’s old town will also be visible at night.
  • A professional three-day weather forecast. The information is updated every three hours. It is the only weather forecast this comprehensive provided by local media.
  • A city map launched thanks to the Google Maps service. You can view a detailed map of Bolesławiec, as well as any other city in the world. Satellite images are also available.
  • An expanded classified ads section. Photos can be added. New, clearer categories have been introduced, allowing users to find a specific ad more quickly.

On Saturday, coinciding with the introduction of the portal’s new, clear design, we began publishing short films presenting well-known residents of Bolesławiec. The first featured a film about the recently deceased Jolanta Ajlikow-Czarnecka. Every week, we will publish further episodes in the series, presenting more residents of Bolesławiec.

This, of course, is not the end of the changes. The revolution continues. We will keep you, Dear Readers, informed about all further innovations. Keep an eye on the menu on the left; that is where new features will appear. We invite you to use the Boleslawiec.org service!
