Playground equipment will be installed from 20 July in courtyards and green areas at various locations throughout the city. Local playgrounds have been built in Bolesławiec for four years. The funding comes from the alcohol-prevention fund. This year, equipment for children and young people will be installed near Dolne Młyny Street, in the Kwiatowe Housing Estate, at the corner of Bema and Kazimierza Wielkiego streets, by the roundabout (Traugutta and Kraszewskiego streets), at the junction of Bukowa and Kalinowa streets, and on Gdańska Street.
Benches and swings or playhouses with slides will be installed at these playgrounds. A basketball hoop will be installed on Śluzowa and Lubańska streets. All playground equipment has the appropriate approvals and certificates. The cost of purchasing and installing the equipment is nearly PLN 20,000. The contractor is a company from Wrocław.
