Ceramics fair, parade, exhibitions, happenings, demonstrations and performances by the biggest stars of the Polish music scene—these are just some of the attractions awaiting city residents during this year’s Ceramic Festival celebrations. Bolesławiec’s biggest festival will be held for the 13th time. Nevertheless, its program in no way suggests that this year’s celebrations will be unlucky or unsuccessful. Quite the contrary!
On Friday, August 17, the organizers have planned, among other things:
- 18:30 – a parade featuring city authorities, ceramics producers, invited guests, artists, the city orchestra and city residents
- 19:00 – the official opening of the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival, lottery
- 19:15 – a commemorative photo of Festival participants
- 20:00 – a concert by De Mono
- 21:30 – entertainment with Muzyczne Radio
- 22:00 – a late-night reading with actor Jan Bledzki and journalist Lech Niekrasz
On Saturday, August 18, the following have been scheduled, among other things:
- from 14:00 – a concert for ceramic artists and creative expression workshops
- 16:00 – the official closing of Ceramika Cup
- 17:00 – lottery
- 18:00 – a concert by the gospel choir New Jerusalem Apostolic Church
- 20:00 – a concert by Sofa
- 21:30 – a concert by Kayah
- 23:00 – a performance by Teatr Ognia “Chimera”
On Sunday, there will be:
- 10:00 – a family car rally
- 16:00 – a concert by Orkiestra Miejska Bolesławiec
- 17:00 – lottery
- 17:30 – a concert by Kwartet Jorgi
- 19:30 – a concert by Projekt
- 21:30 – the official closing of the 13th Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival: fireworks display
Via Sudetica
As part of the 13th Ceramic Festival, the Via Sudetica association proposes:
- Friday 15:30 – happening: bathing in clay (Opałkowa Chata)
- Friday 22:00 – outdoor alternative cinema and a multimedia show by the Nieformalni group (Vinci pub)
- Friday 22:45 – Concert on the Balcony. An outdoor opera performance by a trio from Voronezh (Piwnica Paryska)
- Saturday 22:00 – a concert by Kwintet Kwartet and a disco (Vinci pub)
- Sunday From 12:00 – Beetroot Festival with prizes (Niebieski Burak, Łaziska)
- Sunday 21:00 – Anyone Can Sing, or competitive karaoke with stars (Vinci pub)
