The reconstruction date for Góralska Street was selected so that residents of this part of the city would experience as little inconvenience from the renovation as possible. The street will be reconstructed along the section from Kościuszki Street to Staszica Street. A stormwater drainage system will also be built here. The work is scheduled for completion on 30 September this year. The contractor is Sudeckie Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych from Jelenia Góra. The investment is worth nearly PLN 820,000.
The reconstruction will also include the installation of water-supply and gas networks. This work will be carried out by Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji in Bolesławiec and Zakład Gazowniczy Zgorzelec. Since the road foundation will be reinforced and the surface completely replaced, it is necessary to close the road. Góralska Street is planned to be closed to traffic from 18 July to 18 August 2007.
