In April, we reported that the reconstruction of the track system with drainage, modernization of the crossing itself, and reconstruction of sections of Polna Street and Modłowa Street were to continue until the end of May. We also hoped that the renovation work would not be extended, as happened with the renovation of the tunnel on Tamka Street. Unfortunately, these were merely wishful thoughts. Trakcja Polska – Przedsiębiorstwo Kolejowych Robót Elektryfikacyjnych S.A., the Warsaw-based leader of the consortium responsible for modernizing the E-30 line on the Bolesławiec-Zebrzydowa section, announced that the construction design had to be changed because of an undocumented structure. Consequently, the reconstruction will take another month. The work is scheduled to be completed on June 25 by 6:00 p.m.
