In fact, only some people know that Boys’ Day is celebrated today. The holiday is definitely less popular than the once-celebrated Women’s Day and is treated rather unseriously. It appears in few calendars, and even then, there are problems determining its date. It is generally accepted that it falls on September 30, although other proposals occasionally appear, such as March 10, which some call Men’s Day.
A Commercial Holiday
Many people consider it yet another commercially driven, artificially created holiday, following Valentine’s Day. Even if that is indeed the case, it must be admitted that it is an exceptionally pleasant one. Therefore, to all boys—both younger and older—we offer our warmest wishes.
