The Polish Table Tennis Championships for People with Disabilities were held in Radom last weekend. More than 150 players took part in the competition. TOP Bolesławiec was represented by seven table tennis players. The strongest member of the Bolesławiec team was Waldemar Krzemiński. As expected, the Bolesławiec player retained his title as Poland’s runner-up, losing in the final (1:3) to Mirosław Kowalski from Radom. Andrzej Kwiatkowski finished in fifth place.

Dariusz Surma and Marek Kołbuc finished fifth and sixth respectively in Group Seven. Both players performed much better than at the championships held the previous year. Another Bolesławiec representative, Zbigniew Kurasz, also put in a successful performance, finishing fourth in Group Eight.

After the Polish Championships, Waldemar Krzemiński was called up to the national team. The Bolesławiec player will compete in the International Classification Tournament, which will be held in Piešťany, Slovakia.
