On Friday, October 7, an exceptional volleyball tournament was held for the second time in the gymnasium of Bolesławiec’s Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych. Once again, three volleyball generations met on the court: teachers from “Mechanik,” the school’s current team and its graduates, who represented the school in volleyball competitions some time ago. (The latter were honored with trophies for their successes in 2000–2001; they were presented by PE teacher Janusz Filipek.)
“For the second time, we managed to meet and play a mini-tournament on the occasion of Teachers’ Day,” says “ii” Krzysztof Mosiądz from the graduates’ team. It is worth adding that the team was joined by a recent “Mechanik” graduate who played for the students’ team in last year’s tournament.
The graduates’ team proved to be the best. The current “Mechanik” volleyball representatives took second place. “I hope this tradition will be continued in the coming years,” adds Krzysztof Mosiądz.
