The aim of the competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle. It is intended to show the harmful effects of substances that alter consciousness—nicotine, medicines, drugs and alcohol—on people, especially young people, society and the surrounding environment. It seeks to shape assertive attitudes, justify and strengthen attitudes committing participants to abstaining from such substances. It also aims to make young people aware of the legal consequences associated with using them. The competition presents and popularizes creative film achievements, stimulates young people’s creativity, and enables them to learn and improve their skills in using the filmmaker’s craft and the language of film.

The competition is held under the honorary patronage of Jacek Klakoćar, Lower Silesian State Provincial Sanitary Inspector; Piotr Roman, Mayor of Bolesławiec; and Inspector Henryk Stefanko, District Police Commander in Bolesławiec.
