Seventy-one crews from Lower Silesia took part in the competition, including four teams from Bolesławiec. Taking third place on the podium in Class Four were Łukasz Majewski and Dariusz Jacyno from the Bolesławiec-based Hołek Rally Team.
– Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating; drizzle and fog made driving in terrain as demanding as gravel roads very difficult, Łukasz Majewski and Dariusz Jacyno of Hołek Rally Team explain. – Of the six special stages, the organizers modified the final two, shortening them.
A mistake by Hołek Rally Team on the final stage cost the rally drivers second place, but despite the substantial time penalty imposed, it did not cost them a place on the podium. Congratulations!
