The jury of the sixth edition of the Leica Street Photo competition, comprising Ania Kłosek (photographer), Beata Łyżwa-Sokół (photo editor, “Duży Format”), Stefano De Luigi (photographer, VII Photo Agency), Chris Niedenthal (photographer), Maciej Jeziorek (photographer, Napo Images, Forum), and Rafał Łochowski (Leica 6×7 Gallery Warszawa), selected 26 winning entries from nearly 4,000 submissions. Among them was a photograph by Bolesławiec photographer Michał Medyński. The author took the winning photograph in Morocco in May 2015:

As we read on Wyborcza.pl:

For the sixth consecutive year, the Leica Street Photo competition has been organized by Leica Camera Poland. The organizers’ intention is to encourage everyone interested to go out into the street and “capture” a great shot... A photograph good enough for the jury to select it for an exhibition at Leica 6×7 Gallery Warszawa. Although the gallery presentation is the only prize, there is no shortage of applicants. Some winners of previous editions went on to receive awards in prestigious international competitions, including World Press Photo and the Leica Oskar Barnack Award.

More photographs by Michał Medyński can be found on his blog.
