Update 21 September 2016
The tickets went to: Rafał Minkowski and Beata Mertuszka.
To receive an individual ticket to the concert, send us the title of your favorite Alicja Majewska hit via the Form and write about the circumstances in which you first heard it. Do not forget to provide your first and last name and contact number in the Form.
The concert repertoire includes such unforgettable hits as "Odkryjemy miłość nieznaną," "Jeszcze się ten żagiel bieli" and "Być kobietą." The songs interpreted by Alicja Majewska and composed by Włodzimierz Korcz continue to delight audiences with their melodiousness, lightness and passionate performances.
They evoke not only memories, as these classics of Polish popular song are just as popular today as they once were. In the 1970s, Alicja Majewska was associated with the Partita group. She performed at Warsaw’s Teatr na Targówku and gave concerts in many countries across Europe, Asia and America. She is the recipient of numerous awards at international festivals. She continues to work with Włodzimierz Korcz, an excellent pianist and one of the best-known composers of Polish songs, as well as the author of numerous popular hits, film music, oratorios and theatre music.
The concert program features hits and surprises. The artists have prepared a concert that is partly sentimental and partly nostalgic—a meeting with music that is light yet captivating and, of course, full of hits!
