The home side ended the third-round match in the Jelenia Góra A-class competition with a victory, as Chrobry Nowogrodziec hosted BKS Bolesławiec. The team from Nowogrodziec defeated the side from Bolesławiec 2–0, and the victory was fully deserved. From the beginning of the match, the hosts played more effectively and attacked more frequently. The first goal came in the 15th minute. Michał Cieślak put the ball into the BKS net. Fifteen minutes later, Sebastian Tkacz made it 2–0, and that was the final goal of the match.
BKS had its chances from set pieces. After Paweł Rissmann’s shot, the ball hit the crossbar. In the second half, the same player had another attempt on goal, but he failed to surprise the home goalkeeper. Sławomir Dul also produced a dangerous shot from 30 metres, but once again the goalkeeper from Nowogrodziec was in position. In the final minutes of the match, a scuffle broke out in the BKS penalty area. As a result, the referee showed a yellow card to the BKS goalkeeper and a red card to the Chrobry striker. In the next round, the team from Nowogrodziec will play in Iwiny, while BKS will host Parzyce.
It is also worth noting that a group of fans wearing club scarves supported BKS throughout the match. Both young and older supporters were among them. They passionately backed their team until the very end of the game.
