The incident occurred on the road between Ziemnice and Legnica. While overtaking another vehicle, the 23-year-old BMW driver scraped against an oncoming Seicento, lost control of the car and drove into a ditch. The people involved in the incident were found to be sober. However, it soon emerged that the 23-year-old had been driving under the influence of drugs. Officers confiscated his driving licence. He now faces up to two years in prison.
