The drone flying over the people was an Inspire made by DJI. The propeller is 13 inches long, or about 33 cm. If a device with four such propellers, generating fairly high torque, fell onto people, you know what could happen. A propeller on the much smaller Phantom 2 cut off my acquaintance’s finger.

He added: “Someone who flies a few meters above people either does not have a license or, if they do, it should be revoked as quickly as possible. The regulations are clear: the operator must conduct the flight in a manner ensuring a safe distance from people and property in the event of a failure or loss of control of the drone.”

What do you think about this? Do low-flying drones bother you? Or perhaps you believe that the end justifies the means in this case? We invite you to join the discussion.
