An elderly pensioner does not have to submit any applications; this is a benefit that all pensioners automatically receive upon turning 100. The benefit is also paid to those who have not worked a single day in their lives and therefore receive neither a retirement pension nor a disability pension. Here’s to a long life!
Currently, 2,300 people throughout Poland receive the honorary benefit from ZUS. In 2013, ZUS allocated PLN 76.5 million to it.
