Exhibitions
- Exhibition “Transmissions. Mosaics by Mirek Kociński”, Friday, 19 August, 8:00 p.m., the City History Department at 14 Kutuzowa Street, opening of an exhibition of works by Mirosław Kociński, a professor at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. At various times, alternately or along several paths, the artist designs and creates works that are most often situated between utilitarian and unique projects, with most fulfilling both functions. The exhibition will feature open mosaic compositions allowing for different configurations. They can serve as mosaic pictures, but can also be used as designs for wallpaper, fabrics, wall coverings or tabletops.
- Exhibition “From Bolesławiec Clay. Exhibition of the Association of Ceramic Municipalities of the Republic of Poland”, Saturday, 20 August, 6:00 p.m., the Ceramics Department at 13 Mickiewicza Street, will present the latest ceramic forms and decoration designs developed at facilities located in Bolesławiec County. This is the first joint initiative of the Association of Ceramic Municipalities of the Republic of Poland, founded in spring 2016 by the City of Bolesławiec, Bolesławiec Municipality, and the City and Municipality of Nowogrodziec. The exhibition will also be presented in the Italian city of Vietri sul Mare (Province of Salerno, Italy). The exhibition is accompanied by an extensive trilingual Polish-Italian-English catalogue.

City History Department, 14 Kutuzowa Street, courtyard:
- 20 August (Saturday), 12:00–18:00, workshops in throwing on a pottery wheel and hand-decorating ceramic vessels using stamps and brushes; workshops in making occasional paper items (cups, gift boxes and bookmarks) decorated with stamped patterns; workshops in decorating salt-dough figurines

The permanent exhibitions of the City History Department and the Ceramics Department will be open at the following times:

Free promotional and informational materials about the activities of the Museum of Ceramics and the Association of Ceramic Municipalities of the Republic of Poland will be available during the Ceramic Festival at a stand located within the Antique Market at P. Prusa Street.
