The film “Café Society” is set in the 1930s, against the backdrop of fashionable nightclubs, elegant parties and picturesque corners of New York and Los Angeles. Bobby is a sensitive romantic from the Bronx. Hoping to fulfill his dreams of a great career, he sets off for Los Angeles, where he starts working for his uncle Phil, an agent representing Hollywood’s top stars. There he meets a beautiful secretary, Vonnie. The boy falls madly in love with the girl, not yet knowing that this relationship will turn his life upside down.
In the film “Pete’s Dragon,” Mr. Meacham, a local woodcarver, has entertained local children for years with stories about a fearsome dragon living in the forests of America’s West Coast. His daughter Grace, a forest ranger, considers them nothing more than fairy tales… until she meets little Pete. This mysterious ten-year-old claims that he lives alone in the forest, without a family, accompanied only by a huge green dragon named Elliott. And judging by what the boy says, his extraordinary companion resembles the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. Grace decides to find out where Pete came from, where his home is and what the truth about the dragon is. The film will be shown in the traditional version and in 3D.
