The artists, who—interestingly—once studied together, have decided to jointly create a program based on liturgical music. During the concert, we will hear works by, among others, Johann Sebastian Bach, Maurice Durufle, Padre Davide da Bergamo and Marian Sawa. There will also be the song “Bogurodzica” by Feliks Rączkowski, as well as other pieces.

The concert promises to be extraordinary. Anna Maria Jopek is a vocalist, composer and improviser. She records and performs around the world with the most important figures in contemporary music, including Pat Metheny, Youssou′n Dour, Bobby McFerrin, Ivan Linz, Branford Marsalis, Nigel Kennedy, Richard Bona, Oscar Castro-Neves and Makoto Ozone. She has performed at the world’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, Royal Festival Hall, the Tokyo and Tel Aviv opera houses, Blue Note Tokyo and Santori Hall. Her music is released worldwide. She has sold a million records, but values chamber music and performing in intimate settings close to people most highly. For outstanding achievements in artistic and creative work and for popularizing Polish music around the world, she was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 2015.
