This year's parade, Ceramic Carnival, will open the 22nd Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival. Parade participants will set off on Friday, August 19, at 5:00 p.m. from Adama Asnyka Street and walk to the Market Square along Ignacego Łukasiewicza, Karola Miarki and Kościelna streets. They will circle the Market Square, where the jury's station will be set up on the Town Hall steps.
As part of the parade, a competition for the most interesting costume presentation will be decided. The competition is open to everyone interested, both individuals and groups.
Prizes for individuals, groups and companies

A stay at the Treehouse Hotel in the KULTURINSEL Adventure Park for 6 people (one six-person cottage; the price includes accommodation, breakfast, park admission and parking). The prize is worth approximately 400 euros (the stay can be taken from September to June 2017).

A one-day admission ticket to the Folklorum Festival (September 2–4, 2016) for 2 people. The prize is worth 110 euros.

How to prepare a costume for the parade?
All you need is a little imagination and creativity. Prepare a costume inspired by Bolesławiec ceramics: clothing reflecting the colors and shapes of the ceramics, makeup, headwear and other props. There are many possibilities, as many as the patterns of ceramics produced by Bolesławiec factories.
Kross Trans India prize in the Ceramic Parade for cyclists
The person who decorates a bicycle most creatively, using the traditional patterns of Bolesławiec products, will win. Everyone who decorates their bicycle and takes part in the competition will have a chance to win a Kross Trans India bicycle, donated by BZM Cieśla s.j.. The price of the bicycle on the Kross website is PLN 1,299.
