Magdalena Konieczna led the “Summer Warm-Up” fusing and mosaic workshops, which involved working with glass: arranging mosaics from glass and ceramics, and fusing glass. The instructor also taught costume design. This activity will conclude with participation in a ceramic parade held as part of the 22nd Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival.
Mirosław Kuc held open guitar lessons covering the basics of improvisation and harmony.
Agnieszka Radwańska conducted a series of movement games set to music, developing an interest in dance and the need for physical activity. During the classes, the children learned exercises using props, including a gymnastic stick, ball and hula hoop. The instructor also led folk dance and singing workshops featuring several regions of Poland. During the classes, the children had the opportunity to learn about Polish and foreign folklore, including the basics of the Polonaise and Croatian dances.
During her summer vocal workshops, Barbara Lendzian offered young people the opportunity to improve their voices and singing techniques, and to develop diction and intonational and vocal sensitivity. She also taught them how to interpret song lyrics; her classes enabled them to learn how to work with a microphone and how to behave on stage.
Michał Szwed introduced young people to the principles of filming techniques. Participants in the summer classes learned the basics of film production, post-production, film editing, sound production and cinematography. The classes included work with a RED ONE Mysterium X 4.5K camera.
Urszula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz, who runs the theatre group at CIK Orzeł BOK-MCC on a daily basis, led theatre workshops that will conclude with a happening performance during the parade opening the 22nd Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival.
Edyta Orlińska continued creating a ceramic image through experimentation with various clay textures, stamping, imprinting and colouring with glazes.
