A driver travelling on the motorway alerted the police that a truck was weaving along the A4. The Bolesławiec police duty officer immediately sent a traffic patrol to the scene, and officers stopped the vehicle in question.
The truck driver turned out to be a 34-year-old resident of Łódź Voivodeship. He was drunk. The test showed 3‰ alcohol in his system. Interestingly, other drivers helped apprehend the intoxicated 34-year-old by effectively blocking the truck and limiting its ability to change motorway lanes uncontrollably.
The 34-year-old resident of Łódź Voivodeship now faces up to two years behind bars for driving drunk on the A4 motorway.
