At the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, the Falklandy resort was managed by the military, and children's holiday camps and campsites were organized there. It was willingly visited by residents of Bolesławiec throughout the year, but was later sold to a private owner. Some believe that the number of visitors to the site declined significantly when the exit to Falklandy directly from the motorway was closed, making the access road considerably longer. It can be reached from the direction of Trzebień and Parkoszów. Administratively, the site belongs to Trzebień. The view is, to put it mildly, sad. Everything has been devastated, and what remains only serves as a reminder that it was once quite beautiful here. The only people who regularly visit Falklandy today are anglers.

Do you remember this resort and how it once teemed with life? We invite you to join the discussion.
