As officers established, in May the suspect committed at least two thefts in Jelenia Góra. From one of the stores, taking advantage of the staff’s inattention, he stole men’s clothing twice. These included shirts, trousers and T-shirts. The losses were estimated at over PLN 2,300.

The police began searching for the thief. Based on an analysis of surveillance footage, they identified and arrested a 23-year-old suspected of the thefts. The man had already been convicted of similar offenses. He stated that he had sold the stolen property to people he met by chance.

The 23-year-old from Kowary, suspected of two clothing thefts, now faces up to five years in prison.
