The most important element of the convention was the vote of confidence in the Lower Silesian SLD Board, as well as the election of delegates to the National Convention. The composition of the Voivodeship Party Court, the Voivodeship Audit Commission and the National Council was also supplemented. A vote of no confidence was given to only one person – secretary Leszek Cybulski. Radosław Mołoń, previously treasurer of the Lower Silesian Council, was elected in his place. Janusz Krasoń was re-elected chairman of the Alliance in the voivodeship.
Some of the most important politicians of the Polish left participated in the convention in Legnica – Wojciech Olejniczak, chairman of the SLD, and Joanna Senyszyn, deputy chairwoman of the Alliance. Among the delegates to the party’s National Convention, which will be held in Warsaw in mid-May, were Stanisław Chwojnicki, Deputy Starosta of Bolesławiec, and Daniel Biernat.
The other delegates from Lower Silesia are: Henryk Baczmański, Ryszard Biały, Jarosław Borysiewicz, Zdzisław Buniat, Czesław Cyrul, Marek Dyduch, Lidia Geringer de Oedenberg, Monika Jabłońska, Władysław Kobiałka, Danuta Kopacka, Cecylia Kwaśnica, Robert Ławski, Jarosław Majchrzak, Adam Markiewicz, Stefan Morka, Daniel Ochman, Marta Przeworska, Łukasz Puźniecki, Jan Rymarczyk, Grażyna Sokołowska, Józef Pawnuk, Krzysztof Świątek, Edyta Włos and Marek Wojtaśkiewicz.
