A football tournament involving representatives of three mines: Gryżyce (Żagań County), Sulików (Zgorzelec County) and Lubień (Legnica County), took place on Saturday, 9 July, at the Orlik next to II LO in Bolesławiec. (It was decided that this town would be the easiest for the miners from all these mines to reach.)
The competition was held as part of Safety Month. Miners from the mines in Gryżyce, Sulików and Lubień spent their time actively, promoting safety and a healthy lifestyle. The miners from Gryżyce turned out to be the best in the tournament.
