Three young men, aged between 24 and 35, were arrested at the time on suspicion of stealing the car. The vehicle was returned to its owner.
As a result of further investigations, officers arrested a 32-year-old resident of Legnica who, as it later turned out, had knowingly purchased the stolen vehicle. What is more, officers found more than 300 portions of methamphetamine, 20 portions of marijuana, ecstasy tablets and items used to divide drugs into portions both on him and in his home.
The 32-year-old was charged with drug dealing and possession, as well as handling stolen goods. He faces up to 10 years in prison. The man has already been remanded in custody for three months.
