Sunday, July 31, “The Wizard of Oz: Dorothy’s Return” 3D, a continuation of Lyman Frank Baum’s unforgettable novel. Although only a moment has passed since Dorothy returned from Oz, another adventure already awaits the girl. Called by her friends—the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and the Tin Woodman—she returns to the enchanted land. There she discovers that, in her absence, power over Oz has been seized by the brother of the Wicked Witch of the West—a malicious and cunning Jester. Dorothy is the only person capable of stopping the villain.

Sunday, August 7, “My Friend the Eagle”. The film’s protagonist is a boy named Lukas who lives in a mountainous area and finds an injured eaglet in the forest. Lukas decides to heal its broken wing and teach it how to live in the wilderness. The task is very difficult because the boy’s father does not approve of his plans, while the eagle itself is initially very distrustful. Over time, however, Lukas’s relationship with the wild animal develops into an extraordinary friendship and leads to fascinating adventures. A great source of support for Lukas is the mysterious Danzer (Jean Reno), who knows more than anyone about the habits of wild animals and opens up their extraordinary world to the boy.

He expects to easily win the hand of the troll princess and begin a comfortable life as a hero. Instead, however, new challenges await him. Evil is reawakening in the Land of Ice. It is Orm’s reflection in a magic mirror, which takes control of the ice army. Calling himself the Snow King, the villain plans to bring eternal winter to the world. Fortunately, Orm will receive help from his tried-and-tested friends—Gerda, Kai, a rebellious pirate girl and the dependable weasel Zuzia. Together, they will experience countless adventures, once again saving the Land of Ice from great danger.
