Signage has been changed at intersections in Bolesławiec. New traffic lights have also been installed. In general, the changes mean that drivers going straight ahead use the right-hand lane (which, until the changes were introduced, was used only for turning right). The left-hand lane can now be used only to turn left. Changes have been introduced at the following intersections in Bolesławiec:
- Spółdzielcza Street and Tysiąclecia Avenue, for drivers approaching the intersection from Spółdzielcza Street (from the stadium)
- Grunwaldzka Street – Tamka Street, for drivers approaching the intersection from Grunwaldzka Street. New traffic lights for left-turning drivers have also been installed at this intersection
- Jeleniogórska Street – Podgórna Street, for drivers approaching the intersection from Komuny Paryskiej Street and from Karola Miarki Street.
Zmiany organizacji ruchu na skrzyżowaniach:
Unfortunately, some drivers drive from memory. This is most noticeable immediately after signage changes. We appeal to drivers to exercise caution and follow the new signs. This is especially important because old markings are still visible on some lanes, which may cause additional confusion. We particularly advise caution at the intersection of Tysiąclecia Avenue and Spółdzielcza Street. Traffic-light repairs are still underway there. The lights will probably be switched on in July.
